Linda Kay Garcia

Linda Kay Garcia, age 65, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. She is survived by her children, Andrea Garcia, Kellee (Kevin) Patrick and Eduardo Matthew Garcia; granddaughter, Lola Patrick; her father-in-law, Juan Garcia; sisters, Mary and Judy; brothers, Sherman and Earl; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Pearl Minton; mother, Margaret (Harris) Minton; husband, Eduardo Garcia; mother-in-law, Santos Garcia; sister-in-law, Elva Garcia; and brother-in-law, Carlos Garcia.

Linda was born on June 5, 1956 in Hobart, IN to the late Pearl and Margaret (nee Harris) Minton and was a graduate of Calumet High School. She previously worked at Rehabilitation Medical Center with Dr. C.J. Yoon, M.D. as a secretary. She enjoyed the Chicago Cubs, Coca-Cola, her granddaughter Lola, walks around her neighborhood and her many cats.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN with Msgr. John J. Siekierski officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service.
