Henry T. Horton

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carey Horton; children: Dale (Cheri) Horton and Ann (Greg) Walker; grandchildren: Nicole, Greyson and Fallon

He served his country in the United States Army for over 25 years. The majority of his career was spent in the Combat Engineers. He was awarded over 30 military decorations including 2 bronze stars and the Republic of South Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.

Hank was a 50 year member of the Free Masons and 30 year member of the Orak Shrine

He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN)

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Inurnment will be private.
