Dina L. Janis

Dina L. Janis nee Bach, age 81, of Hobart, IN passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Janis; her parents, Everett and Roberta Bach; and siblings, Mary Trznadel, Everett Bach, and John Bach. Dina is survived by her children, Thomas (Wanda) Mathis, Jr., Roberta (Bob) Mathis, Mark (Kim) Mathis, and Steven Mathis; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her loving pet, Piper. Dina was a member of the Bonner Senior Center. She loved playing Bingo and Bunco, as well as going to the casino. Dina loved her game shows, like Jeopardy and Press Your Luck. She worked at Service Merchandise and Coca Cola for many years. A private service will be held with her family. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make a donation in Dina's name to the Bonner Senior Center in Portage, IN.
