David E. Stamper

David Eugene Stamper, age 66, of Griffith, Indiana passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Dave is the loving husband to Cindy Stamper for 42 years; father to David Stamper; proud grandfather to Dylan, Derek, and Dustin Stamper; cherished son to the late Birchel and Virginia Stamper; fond brother to Doug (Wanda) Stamper, Linda (Gene) Mudra and late Patricia Lowe; beloved uncle to Jason Stamper, Brian Stamper, Shawn Denham, Carol Mudra, and Saundra (Anthony) Valera; cousin to many. Dave was a pipefitter and welder with Local #597. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. Especially walking and taking care of his dog. Dave was a family man, he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandsons. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
