Vincent J. Cestone

Vincent Cestone left this world to join his wife Angie in Heaven on August 18, 2017. Mr. Cestone was a long time resident of Croton where he and his wife lived together until her passing in 2010. Being of “the Greatest Generation” Mr. Cestone is a WWII Veteran. He served in the Army Air Force and was part of the “Manhattan Project”.

Vincent’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were blessed to have his abundance of love and will carry that with them throughout their lives. Vincent is survived by his children Rosemary and Joe Mastandrea, and Vincent and Jeryl Cestone, grandchildren Paul and Rachel Hoffman, Lauren Cestone, Michele and Aaron Payne, and Scott Cestone, and great grandchildren Maiya, Mayce and Joseph Vincent Hoffman.

He brought great joy to his family who will be lost without him. Anyone who ever met Vincent was touched by him and will remember him for his kind and loving ways, and his beautiful open hearted smile.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 4-8PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton on Hudson, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 23rd, 10AM Holy Name of Mary Church, Croton on Hudson with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery, also in Croton. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
