Mary C. Boerner

Mary was born on May 23, 1929 to the late Rosario and Rose Mancuso. She worked for many years as a Records Manager for Chase Manhattan Bank in Mahopac, NY. Mary was married to her late husband Ronald Boerner in 1950. He predeceased her in 2002 after 52 years of marriage. She was an active member of the Croton Seniors, Croton Historical Society and a lifelong parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many and her kindness and compassion for others will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her beloved children, Ronald Boerner and his wife JoAnn and Debra A. Hair; adoring grandchildren, Heather Newton, Ronald Jacob Boerner and Thomas Jesse Hair; loving great grandchildren, Dangerous and Ripsi Newton. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Dominic Mancuso and sister Angelina Lancaster.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 3 to 8 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 25th at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.
