Lawrence S. Buck

Lawrence S. Buck, a lifelong resident of Croton-on-Hudson, New York passed away Friday April 1st, 2022. He was born in Ossining, New York on January 30, 1947, the son of Lawrence and Vera Hochstader Buck. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was very proud of his service to our country. He donated heavily to organizations that helped disabled veterans of the US Armed Forces. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating on the Hudson River with his family. He was married to Rita Buck until her death in 2008. He is survived by his brother Robert, his two daughters Amanda and Allison Buck, his only granddaughter Sophia Morales, his nephew John Buck, his sister-in-law Ellen Buck, and several cousins. He is also survived by Rita’s two sisters, Helen DiCarlo and Pauline Martin and their children. He was predeceased by his identical twin brother, Donald.

A visitation for Lawrence will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A graveside service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Cemetery, Old Post Rd S & Cleveland Dr, Croton-on-Hudson, New York.
