Frances Agnes Bodak

Frances Agnes Bodak of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the age of 88. Frances was born to the late Angelo Gill and Elizabeth (Arroyo) Gill on July 9, 1932 in New York, NY. Frances was married to her beloved husband Joseph Bodak until his passing in 2012. Frances and Joseph resided in Throggs Neck before moving to Croton-on-Hudson 25 years ago. They were owners of Bodak Reality, a successful reality business in the Bronx they ran together for over 60 years. Frances was high energy and very active until the last few months of her life. She enjoyed the high life; traveling, going to spas, hotel stays, casinos, and she loved to shop, shop, shop!

Frances is survived by her son’s Ruben "Rob" and John Ellin, daughter’s Yvonne Ellen and Denise Bodak, grandchildren Justin and Ryan Ellin, and Mikolo and Zoe Schlanger. Her dear friend Jessica Rivera and her granddaughter Tara G. Ellin also survive her. Frances was predeceased by her grandson Reuben Ellin and granddaughter Lynette Franco.

Visitation will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 5-8pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Entombment will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 17th at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
