He was born October 7, 1943 in Montgomery, the son of Nutie and Irene Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Connie and his maternal grandparents Ray and Mabel Hill.
Nutie retired from CSX Railroad as conductor after 37 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran. He also worked for Kroger in the produce dept. He said it was his ministry to help the senior citizen customers.
Nutie was a strong Christian, he attended Living Hope Church (Formerly Perrow Church) for 47 years in Cross Lanes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy, sons Daniel (Michael), Jason, Brian (Katherine), John, and 9 grandchildren, step father Dana Lortie, sister in law Brenda, brother in Law Barry (Crisp), and Bill Bob (Patsy) Hill.
Celebration of Nutie’s life will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Living Hope Church, Cross Lanes with Rev. Ryan Fulmer and son Rev. Brian Miller officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the church.
