Maxine was born February 4, 1928 in Mason County to the late Walter Edgar Roseberry and Althea Rose Mitchell Roseberry. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard.
Maxine was a retired secretary at Ruthlawn Elementary School and attended Living Word Christian Center, Charleston. Maxine especially enjoyed cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Karen Cook, Linda Smith, Joyce Turner, Roger and Barbara Cook, and Claude and Pam Bartley; brother, John Anderson; grandchildren, Tammy Cook, Brian Cook, and Joshua Miller; great-grandchildren, Andrew Hudson, Kaleigh Hudson, Braydyn Cook, and Brynn Laughlin; and one great-great-grandson, Noah Gene Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV 25313.
