He was born July 15, 1963 in Charleston, the son of the late Jarrel W. and Mary Hammonds Johnson,
Jarrel was retired from Verizon. He loved spending time with his family and grandsons. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend that will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Tammy, son, Jeremy (Nikki), of Cross Lanes, grandsons, R.J., Bryson, and Ezra, sisters, Kathy White (Larry), of Belle, Kim Taylor, of Sissonville, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Jarrel’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, 22, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Mr. Larry White officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
