Grace C Wells-Wilson

Grace C. Selbe Wells Wilson of Sissonville, WV formerly of Charleston, WV, went to be with her Lord on August 3, 2023. She was 95 years old. She is loved by her family and friends always and forever.

She was preceded by her mother Maime E. Stept Selbe and father Richard Selbe, (raised by her aunt Effie Ballard of Loudendale, WV), sons Mark & Denver Wells, step-son Bobby Pegelo, and husbands Harry Wells, Robert Pegelo, Ernest Wilson. Surviving family: sister Betty Dyer Morris, grandson Reynolds Wells, daughter-in-law Becky Reynolds, step-daughters Lisa Robinson, Carol Morioni, Janice Milam, Mary Speigl, along with many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Grace loved her family and people. She loved her Pinetop Church of God, playing the piano and singing for the people there. She loved gardening, fishing, crossword puzzles, being outdoors, and cooking for others. Her door was always open and no-one ever went hungry around her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 19, 2023 at the Pinetop Church of God, 1619 Kenwood Rd, Charleston, WV 25314. Her ashes will be at placed with her husband Harry Wells at Tyler Mountain Cemetery.
