Eva Andre Mullins

Andre was born July 5, 1925 to parents Virginia (Holley) Fowlkes and Samuel Fowlkes, Sr. and was the loving sister to Samuel Fowlkes, Jr., James Fowlkes, and Yvonne Fowlkes Hensley, all of whom preceded her in death.

Andre was the mother of 6 children: Bob of St. Albans, Carol Smithson of Tornado, Mike (Bobbie) of Ohio, Steve (Sarah) of New York, Terry (Mary) of Tornado, and Rick (Linda) of St. Albans.

She was lovingly called “Noodle” by her 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren (including step grandchildren) and one great-great grandchild.

Andre and Jack were members of and donors to Humphreys United Methodist Church in Tornado. Andre graduated from Morris Harvey College (University of Charleston) with an LPN degree. She loved growing flowers and her own vegetables in the summer. But over all her favorite things to do was to sew. She lovingly made beautiful “Noodle Blankets” for new grandchildren and other loved ones for as long as she was able to do so.

Celebration of Eva’s life will 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Humphreys United Methodist Church with Pastor Richie McNiel officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St Albans.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 10 until time of service at the church.

Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans is assisting the Mullins family with arrangements.
