Al was born August 12, 1931 in Charleston to the late Dio Delbert Ingram and Lillian Tressa Bailey Ingram. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia K. Eskew Ingram; twin sister, Alice Keeling; son, Alvin Lester Ingram.
Al retired from Carbide and was a Korean War Veteran. He served our country in the Navy and received the National Defense Good Conduct Medal, as well as the Navy Occupation Service Medal. Al enjoyed spending time at the Moose Lodge #1444.
Left to cherish his memory are loving children, Kathy Knight-Singer (Michael), Pamela Lovejoy, David Ingram, and Benjamin Ingram (Anita), and Michael Ingram (Vivian); 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Military Honors provided by the Navy Honor Guard.
