He was born on December 11, 1997 in Peoria to Robert and Christine (Bastian) Pitts, Sr.
Surviving are his parents of East Peoria; three sisters, Lisa Pitts of East Peoria, Marla (Terry Gavin) Pitts of Peoria and Katlyn (Tyler) Bishel of East Peoria; one brother, Robert L. Pitts Jr. of East Peoria; maternal grandmother, Jean Elsey of Washington; maternal grandfather, Charles (Anita) Bastian of Cuba; paternal grandmother, Barbara Bastian of Washington; seven nieces and nephews, Lilia Marquardt, Trip Pitts, Jace Pitts, Sawyer Bishel, Saylor Bishel, Joey and Morgan Gavin; his girlfriend, Taylor Watson of East Peoria; many aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved dog, Winston.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Pitts; paternal step-grandfather, George Bastian and maternal step-grandfather, Chester Elsey.
Ryan worked as an apprentice plumber at Prather Plumbing in Eureka.
An outdoorsman, Ryan enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler and off-roading in his truck. He loved his nieces, nephews and all animals. He will be remembered as a great son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend.
Ryan was a member of Rivers Edge United Methodist Church in Spring Bay.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Rivers Edge United Methodist Church, 500 Chicago Street in Spring Bay. Dr. Binu Peniel will officiate. His visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
