Born February 15, 1948 in Peoria to David and Emma (DeYoung) Siebenthal, he married Diane Rae Westbrook on July 27, 1968 in Creve Coeur.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years; one daughter, Tracy Sauer of Washington; one son, Scott (Candace) Siebenthal of Creve Coeur; four grandchildren, Mandy (Tim) Miller of Creve Coeur, Lidell Wright of Washington, Michael (Emily Cooper) Walker of Marquette Heights and Marissa Graff of Bloomington; eight great-grandchildren, Laiden, Remi, Kai, Malorie, Zayd, Brylee, Avery and Bentley; one sister, Patricia Siebenthal Creve Coeur and one brother, Brian (Stacy Siebenthal of St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.
He had worked at Caterpillar, Inc. as a pipe fitter for 42 years before retiring in 2010. He was a proud member of the UAW Local 974 in East Peoria.
Larry enjoyed fishing, reading and photography. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a longtime member of Creve Coeur Christian Church.
His memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Creve Coeur Christian Church. Pastor Bill Holley and Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Military rites will be provided by the United States Army.
