Born October 3, 1968 in Peoria to Ralph and Sandra (Berger) Schultz, he married Melanie Long on June 17, 1995 in Milford. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents; four children, Austin (Angel Cumming) Schultz, Jacob (Samantha Powers) Schultz, Emma Schultz and Kolby Schultz; one grandchild, Addison Schultz; one sister, Rebecca Adams; two nephews, Jonathan and Logan Adams and one niece, Amanda Adams, all of whom reside in Tremont.
Ken attended Indiana Wesleyan University and Lincoln Christian University, where he studied youth ministry.
He worked as a youth pastor at Creve Coeur Wesleyan Church and Morton Christian Church. Ken impacted several lives and facilitated countless baptisms. He was also the owner and operator of Savannah Computer in Savannah, Tennessee.
Ken was an attendee of Northfield Christian Fellowship and later Cornerstone Baptist Church.
A deeply caring person, he befriended anyone he met. Ken dearly loved his family and held a great love for the Lord. He was passionate about working with children and doing missions work.
A gathering celebrating Ken’s life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Private inurnment will be at Springdale Cemetery at a later date.
