Jackie Pearl Hale

Born September 12, 1931 in Tupelo, Mississippi to Benjamin Calvin and Lola Mae (Christian) Franks, she married John C. Hale on December 26, 1946 in East Prairie, Missouri. He died on June 20, 1997.

She was also preceded by her parents; two sons, Billy Hale and Mike Hale; one daughter, Betty Menson; two brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are four sons, Bob (Vickie) Hale of East Peoria, Tom (Joyce) Hale of Creve Coeur, Jerry (Wanda) Hale of Green Valley and Dan Hale of Creve Coeur; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren;12 plus great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Jackie worked as a kitchen operator at Steak ‘n Shake in Peoria.

She most adored her family and spending time with grandchildren. She also loved gardening, reading, and watching soap operas. She loved raising her German shepherds and tending to her Homestead in Missouri.

Jackie was a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church.

Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be an hour prior at the funeral home.
