Ken was born September 7, 1946 in Scott City, Kansas to Lee & Edith Chadwick, their 4th son of seven children. After graduating in Westcliffe, Colorado he joined the United States Army as a welder/mechanic, fought in Vietnam and after twenty years of service he retired from the military in 1993. He found work with other welding companies and retired from Jay Forbes Welding in 2016. Ken enjoyed “hunting” with his brothers and his sister. His support was unwavering for family and friends, always there to give a helping hand after all he could fix anything with a good pair of plyers, duct tape and bailing wire. Always had a smile for anyone that crossed his path. Please join us to celebrate his life on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11am at Grant Mortuary in Craig, Colorado. Memorial donations may be made to Northwest Colorado Health and Hospice or The Wounded Warrior Project in care of Grant Mortuary.
