Clyde Anthony Daigrepont Jr.

Clyde Anthony Daigrepont Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend, passed away tragically on December 3rd, 2024, at the age of 55 due to a sudden cardiac event. Born on May 26th, 1969, Clyde’s spirit shone brightly in the lives of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Clyde is survived by his adoring wife of 25 years, Rebecca Johnson Daigrepont, and their precious daughter, Emma Lynae Daigrepont, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Connie Daigrepont Clayton (Gary). Clyde was preceded in death by his loving parents, Clyde Anthony Daigrepont and Barbara Montero Daigrepont.

With over 30 years of dedicated service in the medical field, Clyde enjoyed a rewarding career as a Lithotripsy technician working for Gulf South Lithotripsy. He was also a CAT scan and x-ray technician for Ochsner. He was adored by his patients and coworkers alike, taking immense pride in providing excellent care and fostering a positive work environment. His compassion and commitment to his profession left a lasting impact on those around him.

Clyde’s greatest joy came from being a loving father to Emma, devoted husband to Becky, and proud parent to 7 amazing pets. Together, they cherished moments of travel and created countless beautiful memories. His laughter and generosity filled their lives with love and warmth.

Clyde will be remembered as a loving, hard-working, selfless, and hilariously funny man, who exemplified loyalty and kindness. His stellar reputation and legacy of generosity live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In a final act of selflessness, Clyde chose to donate his organs through LOPA, giving the gift of life to deserving families and ensuring that his generous spirit continues to shine.

A memorial visitation for Clyde will be held Monday, December 16th, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Dr., Covington, LA 70433, followed by a celebration of life from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember this remarkable man.
