Antonio Luciano Scanga

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Dearly beloved husband of 54 years marriage to Flora. Loving father of Bruno (Nicolina), Mauro (Rebecca), Franco (Ashley), and Anthony (Shannon). Cherished Nonno of Emilia, Anthony, Alexander, Lilianna, Duncan, Sofia, Xavier, and Savanna. Survived by his siblings Angelo, Francesca, Maria and predeceased by his sister Angela. Dear son of the late Bruno and Saveria Scanga. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Antonio will be remembered as a humble, caring and generous man who was dedicated to his family, strong faith, and leaving a legacy for all his family and friends to cherish. He persevered through life's challenges with a positive outlook and always with a smile.

Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, on Sunday November 24th, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church on Monday November 25th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or a selfless act of kindness to anyone in need.
