peacefully on August 4th, with his family by his side.
Bill was born in Cumberland B.C. to parents Bill and Rosemarie Logan. He spent much of his
childhood fishing with his grandpa in Deep Bay, and camping with his family. Bill was the
greatest older brother to his sisters, Laurie and Shelley.
Bill met the love of his life in elementary school and they began dating at the age of fifteen. On
May 7th, 1976, he married his soulmate, Teresa. Bill spent many hours building the family's first
home, and later he built two more. He was a devoted husband and father. He was the kindest,
gentlest, most accepting person in the world! Bill was a one of a kind person, who blessed so
many lives.
Bill began working for Bennett Sheet Metal in 1973. He started out on the roofing crew, and
after graduation in 1975 he began his Sheet Metal apprenticeship, within a few years he
became Manager of the Courtenay location. Bill and Teresa later became the owners of the
company. He has done many different types of jobs in the company over the years, but his
favorite part of the job was the custom sheet metal work.
Bill was an avid fly fisherman, he spent many summers fishing for Pink Salmon in the Eve River.
He could also be found on the beaches of Royston, fishing the salmon runs. Bill especially
enjoyed fishing with his family.
Bill loved to spend his time at his house in Arizona, soaking up the desert sun. He enjoyed bass
fishing there, but his love of Nascar often had him at the race track. He would spend hours
there, during the races - spending time in the pits and listening to the drivers on the radio.
When Bill couldn’t go to the races he followed them religiously on t.v. from the comfort of his
favorite Laz-y-boy chair.
Bill is predeceased by his father Bill Logan and his wife and soul mate Teresa Logan. He
leaves behind his mother Rosemarie Logan, and his three children Terry (Shawna) Logan,
Darren Logan, and Tanya (Dwayne) Rentz, his 6 grandchildren; Olivia, Hanna, William, Isaac,
Emmett and Summer, and his furry buddies Tucker and Lexey.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Bill’s memory to the SPCA, Pacific Salmon
