Born in Kamloops, British Columbia. Vickie attended school and married in Langley, British Columbia. She went on to have significant friendships and to be part of several communities including Powell River, Mackenzie, Vanderhoof and Comox, British Columbia. She worked in hospital and school systems, mainly as a payroll clerk. She loved taking care of children and was “Gramma Vickie” to many in her community. She was active in the Catholic Women’s League and in her Catholic faith.
Vickie loved knitting, quilting, baking, crafts, and walking her dog Bandit. She loved playing games, and cards and she was happiest when her spread out family was all together. Through many difficult family challenges she gave fully and wholly to take care of those who needed her extra-special love.
