Reg was born in Edmonton on October 10, 1958. Reg lived in Edmonton until the early 1990's where he went to N.A.I.T. for a business finance education then operating small businesses. Reg loved the outdoors and spent much of his spare time fishing mountain lakes. Reg once expressed that he loved Edmonton and the people he knew, but his favorite hobby (fishing) was too far away for his liking. Wanting to be closer to nature, after some time living on the lower mainland, Reg moved to Vancouver Island in the mid 1990's where he lived the rest of his years. During his time in British Columbia, Reg found a career he liked very much and had many good stories to tell. Reg worked security for movie sets and eventually became a team Captain where he worked mostly from home after Covid-19 hit. Reg was joined by Allison (whom he knew since the age of 15) in the early 2000's and they made a home together in Ships Point, Fanny Bay. With all the generous crowdfunding support from family, friends and colleagues, The wardle family gives their deepest thanks. Any donations to the heart and Stroke foundation will also be appreciated. There will be a celebration of life in the near future at the Fanny Bay Inn and possibly an internment down the road. Reg will be sorely missed by all.
