Bert and Ethel were married 66 years.
Ethel did things her way.
Ethel Harris leaves behind her pride and joy; a family of makers, adventurers, travelers, lovers of nature - especially the little tiny things, story tellers and stargazers.
People who grow food and preserve it and can "make do."
People who stand up straight and can talk to anyone and look them in the eye.
Who always have time for a child.
She taught us, "the harder you work, the luckier you get."
She is survived by 5 children Nancy (Norman) Emery, Pat (Ed) Yakichuk, Rick (Marilyn) Harris, Dianne (Dennis) Webber, Barb (Todd) Nowicki, 12 grandchildren Kathy (Jim) Barker, Leanne (Steve) Madill, Christina Emery, Eva Wydenes, Jeff (Allison) Smith, Brian (Christy) Smith, Mike (Sarah) Harris, Shelly (Brent) Jaskela, Evan (Shawna) Webber, Clayton (Alissa) Webber, Derek (Camilla) Moul, Wade (Mia) Moul, 28 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
We are the mark she left on this world.
Ethel passed away just as she would have liked. From old age, peacefully in her sleep.
Our sincere gratitude to the excellent staff at Cumberland Lodge, for your compassionate care and the "extra" that you gave her during Covid.
