Bernard Wayne Englund

Bud (Bernard Wayne) Englund, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Oct. 25th, 2024 at the age of 78. Bud was born in Lillooet, BC on April 22nd, 1946 and was a proud member of the N'Quatqua First Nation. He proudly served his country for 26 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Bud is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Englund. His two sons Tim Parsons (wife Meghan and grandchildren Calvin, Shania and Angelica) and Scott Parsons (wife Sarah and grandchildren Mary & Sammy) also a very special member of our family Marie-Claude Bouchard (husband Francois Bolduc and granddaughter Camille). Bud is also survived by his siblings Alice Ewing, Iris Dennison and Val Englund plus many nieces and nephews.

Anyone that knew Bud knew how much he loved his sports. He was a very competitive golf and dart player for many years. He loved his sports teams. The Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Giants, and his soccer teams Arsenal and The White Caps. Our boys grew up watching these sports and are both big fans of the same teams today.

Bud was a genuine gentle soul with the warmest smile that always made you feel welcomed. He loved his family and friends with all his heart, he will be greatly missed.

Bud wishes that we all gather to celebrate his life the way he would. Please join us Sunday Nov. 17th, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Valley Vista Estates Community Hall. 4714 Muir Road, Courtenay, BC.
