Harold (Hal) Herzl Lusky, age 83, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Harbor City, CA. He was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1939. He was raised in Los Angeles, California. Hal is survived by his wife Phyllis K. Daniels, his sister Ilene Crawford, his daughters, Staci Garrison, Zoe Alvarez ; Phyllis's children, Jennifer Lundahl, David Fleischman.
Hal graduated from the Military Academy at West Point in 1960 and served in the army during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, Hal worked as a construction manager, tax preparer and uber driver. He was a true "Renaissance man."
Hal was a man who was full of energy. He was a kind, loving, honest man whose word was his bond.
A chapel service, followed by a graveside service was held at Harbor Lawn-Mt, Olive Memorial Park and Mortuary, Costa Mesa, California on Friday, December 23, 2022. A meal of condolence at the Light House Cafe, Newport Beach, California followed.
Hal will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
