As a young teen, Nancy sang on the WTNS radio station and recorded three records. She was a talented musician who taught her children the love of music. On September 3, 1952, she married Otis Hudson. Together they had six children, who meant the world to her. She loved spending time with her large family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy was the Queen of her neighborhood. She enjoyed sitting on her porch talking with neighbors and supplying cookies to the neighborhood kids. She liked playing bingo, going to yard sales, and watching her husband’s band preform at square dances. She attended Gospel Hill Church for many years and loved taking care of her family. Nancy will be deeply missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
She is survived by four children, Hazel Boyer of Port Charlotte, FL, Debby (Raymond) Wesney of Warsaw, Lavonne (Gary) Lillibridge of Daytona, FL and Rob (Sherry) Hudson of Coshocton; 11 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Otis Hudson; two sons, Duane and Ricky Hudson, grandson, Daryl Hudson, great-grandson, Zane Hudson, son-in-law, John Boyer and 11 brothers and sisters.
