Mark Patterson

Mark Allen Patterson, 42, of Fresno, Ohio, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio on January 22, 2013. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on August 1, 1970, the son of David Allen and Edna Jean (Green) Patterson of West Lafayette, Ohio. Marky was a 1988 graduate of Ridgewood High School. On June 22, 1991, Marky married Christy Ann Deffenbaugh who survives. He worked as a basket weaver for Longaberger Basket Company and was a member of the Newcomerstown Masonic Lodge #175. Marky enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and hunting, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with his wife on vacation at the beach. In addition to his parents and wife, Marky is survived by one brother, Roy Daniel (Michelle) Patterson of Newcomerstown, Ohio; one sister, Teresa (Kenneth) Parks of Galena, Ohio; parents-in-law, John E. and Helen L. Deffenbaugh of Fresno, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Mike Harper of Fresno, Ohio; four nephews; and two nieces. Marky is preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel T. and Beulah Mae Patterson, and Roy and Bertha Green; and sister-in-law, Michelle Harper. Visitation will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton, Ohio on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a Masonic Service starting at 7:45pm, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette, Ohio.
