Rick graduated from Jefferson High School in 1965 and worked for Edmonts for over 35 years before retiring. He loved to go fishing, hunting, tending to his plants, was a dog lover, especially his Great Danes, and had exotic animals of every variety.
He is survived by is sister, Carla (Dennis Cuevas) Flinner of Hudson, FL; nephews, Jerry Thomas II, Craig Eggleston, Carl Eggleston; niece Michelle Eggleston; several great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Drew (Jaala) Pierce, Nathan Pierce, Jake Conrad and George Conrad.
Along with his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Eggleston and two nephews, William Thomas and Harry Eggleston.
Per Rick’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
