Colleen Klein

Colleen Marie (Ryan) Klein, 85, of Tyndal, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2013. She was surrounded at her home by her loving family. Colleen was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on May 24, 1928, the daughter of the late Clarence and Rosanna (Kiser) Ryan. She married the love of her life, Walter D. Klein, on March 29, 1946, in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, and he survives. Colleen was blessed with three children: Dave and Susan Klein, Cheryl and Larry Goodman, and Chip and Terri Klein. Colleen is loved by thirteen grandchildren: Dwayne and Tammy Klein, Andy Mills, Shane Klein, Jason and Shelly Klein, Victor and Mary Strain, Chuck and Tonya Strain, Buddy Goodman, Jeremy and Amanda Goodman, Stephanie and Dave Moore, Ryan and Nequia Klein, Dustin and Amanda Klein, Devin and Lindy Klein, Danita Klein, and Jana Guilliams, and her 21 great grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and walking on beaches, and collecting sea shells. Colleen loved cooking lunch every Sunday for her family and friends. She actually enjoyed cooking all her life and was employed at Buehler’s for 18 years as manager of The Kitchen Korner. She is preceded in death by her son: David Klein, brothers: Eugene and Ryan, and her sister: JoAnn Pennington. The family would like to thank her caregivers: Cindy, Becky, Rhonda, and a special caregiver, and Hospice of Coshocton. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton, Ohio, on Monday, August 19, 2013, at 1:00PM, with Pastor Charles Warren officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery. There will be one hour of public visitation prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
