He worked for Spohn Memorial Hospital as a supply tech for many years before retiring due to illness. Prior to Spohn Memorial, he worked at Driscoll Children's Hospital in the same field. He graduated from W. B. Ray High School in 1976. Vincent was an avid lover of the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved to listen to music such as Classic Rock and Country. His favorite pastime was watching Godzilla movies with his son and grandsons.
Vincent is preceded in death by his parents Anastacio and Guadalupe Flores, along with his brothers Luz "Louie" and Michael Flores.
He is survived by his children: Erica M. Flores, Eric V. Flores, and Jessica C. Flores & grandsons Noah G. Flores and Ayden A. Flores of Corpus Christi. Vincent's surviving siblings Silvia Flores of Austin, Jan Florez of Fort Worth, Maria Chambers and Anastacio "Bud" Flores of Corpus Christi. His nephews JD Chambers; George Flores; Desmin, Joshua and Caleb Flores & nieces Elizabeth "Lisa" Shipman and Rebecca Chambers.
He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
A visitation for Vincente will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A vigil service and rosary will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78412. An interment will occur Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.
