Robert Alexander Muñiz

Robert Alexander Muñiz, 52 passed away March 3, 2015. He was born November 12, 1962 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Robert was called to be with the Lord after a courageous 7 year journey with cancer. Robert was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and he was the best friend you could ever ask for. He is loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Muñiz, grandparents, Elda Deanda and Luz Muñiz. He worked over 30 years as a member of the National Automotive Dealers Association. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing with his family. Robert is survived by his mother, Lucy Muñiz, wife, Leticia; daughters, Renee, Danielle, Roxanne, Priscilla Muñiz, Erica (Henry) Lozano, Jessica (Alex) Silva; siblings, Michael, Arnold, Theresa and April Muñiz; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Joe Ayala, Miguel Muñiz, John Alonzo, Arnold Muñiz, Jr., Tom Sanchez and Bob Sanchez; honorary pallbearers will be Arnold Muñiz, Sr. and Armando Perez. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
