She is preceded in death by her parents, Remigio and Cecilia Escobar; brothers, Ramiro, Remigio, Lindolfo Escobar and sisters, Esperanza and Evangelina Escobar.
Rebeca leaves behind her family to cherish her precious memories, her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Erasmo Oritz; children, Robert (Mary Helen), Erasmo Jr. (Patricia), Rebecca and Randy; six grandchildren, Robert Jr., Melissa, Katherine, Marisol, Amber and Monica; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Elvia Alicia and one brother, Ediberto; several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Nurses on Wheels for their selfless help and assistance thru out her battle with Multiple Myeloma for the last 3 years.
