It is with great sadness that the family of Randy Beasley, Sr. announces his passing on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 66. He was born on September 9, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Randy was employed as an over-the-road truck driver, a short–order cook, a participant in the restoration of the USS Lexington and, for decades, by the family of May Dougherty King.
Randy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with his family and friends, good conversation with those who knew him and as an ardent fan of his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He was a true gentleman with a warm, outgoing personality and was able to connect with people from all walks of life. He relished the friendships he made and the family he loved.
Randy was predeceased by his wife Florence Marie West Beasley and will be lovingly remembered by his children Randy, Jr. (Whitney), Shantale West, Kevin, Zack (Maria Garza), Kristin (Donyiel Williams), Adam and Quarshaee, brother Melvin Beasley, sisters Murlean Johnson, Julie Robinson and Erma Beasley Kinney, 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Chapel Service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
