Norberto Arguello Cortina

He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. He was a proud mechanic with B& J Auto Repair Shop in Corpus Christi.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Cortina.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Norberto and Zeila E. Arguello Cortina; wife, Esther Gonzalez; children, Zeila Rogers (Glenn E. Rogers Jr.), Maria Cortina, Rebecca Cortina, Andrew Martinez, Andy S. Gonzalez, Jordan Gonzalez, Jayce Gonzalez; grandchildren, Glenn E. Rogers III, Isaiah E. Rogers, Leila V. Rogers; siblings, Norberto Cortina (Veronica Cortina), Mark A. Cortina (Graciela E. Rivera De Cortina), Mario Cortina Reyes, Alma E. Cortina Arguello, Angel Cortina, Yasmin Cuevas (Rafael Cuevas). He also leaves a host of extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
