Naomi Pauline Maxey, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024. Born May 27, 1938, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Naomi earned degrees in education from Corpus Christi State University and taught at Oak Park Elementary for over 18 years.
She married Franklin Maxey in 1958, building a life rooted in faith, family, and service. A devoted member of Kings Crossing Church of Christ, she dedicated nearly 50 years to teaching children’s Bible classes.
Naomi is survived by her children Stacey Royo, Sheryl Williams, and Jeffrey Maxey (Natalie), and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Maxey.
A celebration of life service will be held on January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. CT at Kings Crossing Church of Christ.
