Nancy Ann Vasquez

She graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston Texas, joined Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP Attorneys at Law in 1999, and soon worked her way up to become a capital partner. While she was practicing law, Nancy was hardworking, fierce, and tenacious in her craft.

Nancy loved arranging flower bouquets, traveling, and spending time with loved ones, especially her children. She went on many adventures with boyfriend, Les Cassidy in her final years. Her children, Marisa and Rodrigo, were her pride and joy and always put them first. She missed her father dearly, Jose A. Vasquez who passed away in 2012. Her mother, Rosemary Vasquez, was cared and loved dearly by Nancy. Her acts of grace and love touched the lives of so many. She had one of the most infectious laughs. We are going to miss her smile, her signature red dresses, lipstick, and most of all her intuition.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Jose A. Vasquez and best friend, Melissa Tunchez Davis.

She is survived by her daughter Marisa Perez; son Rodrigo Perez; mother Rosemary Vasquez; her two brothers, Sam and Daniel Vasquez (Deborah), her longtime boyfriend, Les Cassidy, 7 nieces, 3 nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Rod Perez, Jacob Birdwell, Daniel Vasquez, Samuel Vasquez, Les Cassidy & Robert Cuevas.
