Monica R. Zuniga

On April 13th 2023, Monica Zuniga passed away peacefully at the age of 50 years young. She was born and raised in our beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas, and was a proud graduate of Roy Miller High School. She was everyone's "second mom" and loved every soul she touched. She spent her days with the love of her life, Joe Gabriel Herrera. She was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Monica is preceded in death by her sister, Christina Bianca Zuniga; and her grandmother, Ofelia Ramirez.

Monica is survived by her children, Ashley, Joe Gabriel Jr., and Andres; as well as, her grandson, Tobias, who was the light of her life.

A public visitation for Monica will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
