Mayra Diaz Hernandez

She is preceded in death by her mother, Pabla Diaz and father-in-law, Ricardo Hernandez, Jr.

She is survived by her ever loving husband of 22 blessed years, Ricardo Hernandez III; her three children: Amanda, Alexandra and Richard Hernandez; she is also survived by her father, Homero Diaz; brother, Homero Diaz, Jr.; sister, Deborah Diaz and mother-in-law, Yolanda Quiroz.

Mayra was a beautiful wife, a loving mother and a generous aunt. She enjoyed every minute she spent teaching and learning with her children. She would have graduated with her bachelor's degree in Science and Kinesiology this year from Texas A&M Corpus Christi University.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m., that same evening.

A Chapel service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mayra's best friends, Letty Valdez, Debbie Acosta, Crystal Perez who were always there to comfort her until the end
