Maria D. Ramos

She was born on July 29, 1925 in Laredo, Texas to the late Eduardo and Ofilia (Sandoval) Davila.

She was a wonderful, loving, caring and proud mother, grandmother and friend whom will be missed dearly. Maria enjoyed being a seamstress for herself and family.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Leopoldo Ramos of 59 years of marriage, Rene Ramiro Ramos (son), Janie M. Ramos (daughter-in-law); Irma Gonzalez (sister) and Eduardo Davila Jr. (brother).

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Diana (Mario) Saenz, Ruben (Janie) Ramos, Richard Ramos, Daniel (Marianne) Ramos; Patricia Ramos (daughter-in-law); George (Lupe) Davila (brother); thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
