She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from West Oso High School and chased her dream of being a barber. She owned and worked Many years at Prescott Village Barber Shop, where she met so many friends. She was also a member of Lady of Schoenstatt, where she volunteered on retreats that were held at Lamar.
Chuche, as we liked to call her, loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Remembering all those Monday dinners, gathered around the kitchen bar, talking about what was going on with all of us, school, work and what was on the news. Especially what was on the news, loved those conversations, so many great memories will be cherished. She was known for all the birthday parties she planned for all of the children. She planned all the holiday meals and made the pinatas and Easter baskets for the children. We loved listening to Chuche’s stories about her travels and there were many. Most weekends were spent in her yard and hours in her flower beds making sure all the weeds were pulled out, every single one, LOL. She is going to be truly missed by her family and friends, who truly loved her.
