Maria Elena Garcia, 86, left to be with our heavenly Father on February 16, 2015. She was raised in Ed Couch, Tx. She has been a resident of Corpus Christi for 52 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Odon M. Garcia Jr., and her children; Mireya G. Villarreal and Mark Anthony Garcia.
Maria is survived by her children; Nahid Y. Ramirez (Roberto), Odon “Tito” Garcia lll, grandchildren; Yvette Garza, Ruben Pena Jr., Christopher Pena, Mireya M. Rogers, Javier Villarreal, 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 8 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11 am at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m.
