Margot Garcia McCourt, age 55, left this world on Saturday, April 11, 2015 to be with our Lord and Savior. Margot was born on May 12, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Margot was a blessing to all who knew her and shared in her life. Margot’s spirit touched so many lives with her beautiful big brown eyes, loving smile, caring heart and talkative talent. Her life revolved around her loving husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Margot had a strong faith in God and lived a prayerful life with her “Sweetie” Miguel, who is her husband of fifteen years.
She is preceded in death by her father Homero Garcia.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael “Miguel” McCourt; her six children: sons Christopher Homer (April) Moreno of Waldorf, MD, Petty Officer First Class Andrew Moreno, US Navy, of Virginia Beach, VA, daughters Renee (Brandon) Bunting of Judsonia, AR, Jessica (Chad) Fisher of New Braunfels, TX, sons Jeremy McCourt of White Hall, AR and Jacob McCourt of New Braunfels, TX. She had six granddaughters and four grandsons. Margot is also survived by her caring mother, Amalia C. Garcia, her loving twin brother Mario (Sandy) Garcia and five sisters: Nora (Gilbert) Garcia, Patsy (Larry-Running Turtle) Salazar, Mercy (Jesse) Mireles, Diana (David) Acosta and Lilly (Paul) Samaniego. She was loved and adored by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her energetic spirit will continue to live in the hearts of her family and friends especially during family gatherings, celebrations and holidays.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Entombmentt to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
