Manuela Sarmiento was lifted to rest in the comfort of her own home with her loved ones by her side on November 2, 2014. Manuela was born on September 20, 1933. She was the rock of her family. She was very strong, loving and a fighter till the end. She left the sweetest memories to everyone who met her. She enjoyed music, dancing and playing bingo with her loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Saenz, husband, Rafael Sarmiento, two children Reynaldo and Roberto Sarmiento and many other loved ones.
She is survived by her two sons Rafael Jr. and Rogelio Sarmiento, her four daughters Ester Moreno, Amelia Sanchez, Rachel (Rudy) Canchola, Rose (Tony) Medellin, twenty grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 4 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. Chapel service to be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
