He resided in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Manuel was born to Virginio and Carmen Ortiz on November 4, 1933.
He married the love of his life, Florinda L. Ortiz and were married for 60 years.
Manuel was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Florinda L. Ortiz.
Manuel leaves his memories to be cherished by his son, Manuel Ortiz, Jr. and his wife Lucy; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving one sister, Teresa Ortiz.
Public visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly Chapel . Interment will follow at Memorial Park, Robstown, Texas
