Manuel B. Gonzales

Manuel "Peewee" Bazan Gonzales, 83, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born on May 10, 1931 to Casimiro Gonzalez and Sarah Bazan Gonzales in Runge, Texas. Manuel worked for many years as a Welder until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria B. Gonzales; daughter, Delia Rodriguez Gonzales and a son.

He is survived by his children, Isabel (Robert) Sanchez, Nancy B. (Francisco) Valencia, Dalia Gonzales, Jose A. (Louisa) Gonzales, Amelia Gonzales Gavin, Sara Gonzales, Cristobal Gonzales, Stella Gonzales, Sylvester Bustinza, Joe Bustinza and Pedro Bustinza, Yolanda Muric and Cleo Bustinza Gomez; sisters, Aurora G. Avalos and Rachel Hoskins and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Robert Sanchez, Sr., Manuel Ybarra, Sr., Robert Sanchez, Jr., Manuel Ybarra, Jr., Alejandro Ybarra and Sylvester Bustinza. Honorary Pallbearers are Joe Bustinza and Frank Hernandez, Jr.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel-Cheyenne with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Corpus Christi.

Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
