Leonor Castillo Guzman

Leonor Castillo Guzman, 60, was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was surrounded by her family and friends as our Lord and Savior called her home on Sunday July 31, 2016. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 25, 1956 to the late Lidia Villarreal Garcia and Luciano Lozano Castillo. Leonor was a unique, loving and vibrant individual that was always there to lend a helping hand and help anyone in need. She enjoyed her garden, dancing and bingo. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Leonor is preceded in death by her husband, Jose H. Guzman, oldest sister, Maria Magdalena Castillo and brother, Juan Rosendo Castillo.

She is survived by her children: Veronica Arreola, Lydia Ann Orta (Richard) and Adam Jason Arreola; brothers: Luciano Castillo Jr. (Juanita), Luis Castillo (Adela), and Angel S. Castillo (Esmeralda); sisters: Maria T. Villanueva (Rey), Claudia Castillo and Rosalinda (Constantino) Vera. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 grandchildren: Angel A. Islas, Nicholas A. Islas, and Jenessa Arreola; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. followed by the rosary to be recited at 3:30 p.m. that same evening.
