He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Denise “Didi” Anderson and a granddaughter, Carol Barton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Rosalva Barton; eight children, Anthony “Tony” Barton (LaVonne), Diane Barton, Debbie Barton, Hector Sanchez (Vangie), Abel Sanchez (Rita), Janie Gonzales (Richard), Rosalva Trevino (Carlos) and Lee Anthony Barton; one brother, Arthur Barton; twenty-two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:30 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. A Holy Rosary will be recited that same evening at 7:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 10:00 am with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
