Juan enjoyed his truck driving years and loved to travel after he retired. One of his favorite places to visit was Las Vegas where he would gamble to his heart's content. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary and his two brothers, Ramon and Antonio Bazan, and sister Maria Rodriguez.
He is survived by his daughter, Helen (Anastacio) Silva; three grandchildren, Alfred (Sonia) Silva, Tammy (Robert) Ramos, Annette (Jerry) Ceniceros; great-grandchildren, Alfred Silva Jr., Alex Silva, Anastacia Silva, Robert Ramos, Sicily Ramos, Jazmine Ceniceros and J.J. Ceniceros. He is also survived by his brother, Jose Bazan and sister, Jesusa Gonzalez along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Mass of Catholic Burial will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Monica Baker (RN) and Lou Perez (CNA) with Harbor Hospice for their special care and to Estella Reyes (LVN), Moses Salomon (LVN), Janet (LVN) and all the staff at CC Nursing and Rehab for the special care and attention given to my father.
